Tilikum Crossing Decaf

About this coffee

Swiss Water Process Decaffeination is a decaffeination method in which green coffee is washed and stripped of its caffeine content using only water and coffee-derived extracts (GCE).

Tilikum Crossing Decaf 2lb (32oz) bag

Tilikum Crossing is one of Portland’s newest bridges in a city that’s famous for them. Portlanders are proud of the fact that it is the first major bridge in the U.S. that was designed to allow access to transit vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians but not cars.

We named our signature Swiss Water Process decaf blend (formerly known as Vienna Decaf) after Portland's newest bridge?a full-bodied shot with notes of graham, caramel, and a clean finish. It’s as distinctive as the bridge it’s named for. It is great as a decaf cup of coffee or a decaf espresso.

This medium roast coffee blend is clean, full-bodied with notes of graham and caramel.

This coffee blend is a medium roast level.

A blend of coffees from all over the world, decaffineited using the chemical-free Swiss Water Process.

We think this coffee is best brewed using a French Press but feel free to use your favorite brew method on this coffee.

Toffee and cocoa are flavors most prominent in this dark roasted coffee

We believe in the power of business to create positive change. It’s been at the core of how we operate since day one, and we’re constantly seeking ways to reduce our environmental and social impact.

Sustainability is about making steady progress, not reaching some final destination. Portland Coffee Roasters is proud of the steps we take to improve our operations, like our headquarters utilizing renewable energy, our organic waste composting, and our burlap bag recycling program.

Use coffee to create positive human connections, by building and supporting socially responsible business.

Beginning with our first direct trade shipment from La Hilda Estate in Costa Rica, and our first project in 1999 with Finca El Paternal in Guatemala, it was clear that our customers saw the connection between the coffee farming communities and their morning cup of coffee. Since then, we’ve continued to build on our commitment to improving the lives of the people we work with..

We’re committed to our efforts to build strong, lasting relationships with our growers. Along the way, we’ve built an intimate understanding of the lengths these farmers go to grow and harvest coffee of the highest quality. We celebrate the fact that, without producers invested in growing the highest quality coffee, no amount of effort in our roastery would be able to create the end results we’re so proud to offer you.
