We are a New York-based collection of specialty coffee shops, with a roastery in Long Island City, Queens. Ever since we opened our first cafe in Greenwich Village in 2003, we have been relentlessly dedicated to the pursuit of high quality coffee, sustainable sourcing and warm hospitality.
We designed The Daily to be a balanced and approachable drip coffee, drinkable every day yet complex enough to keep you coming back.
The Daily is built around seasonally fresh components, typically coffees from South and Central America, chosen carefully to bring together our favorite attributes in coffee, from brightness to body, sweetness to finish. Currently, The Daily is made up of coffees from Brazil and Colombia, and provides everything we look for in a satisfying, drink-every-day blend.
Our team relies upon rigorous standards when selecting coffees to roast. Joe Coffee Company’s quality standards require cupping hundreds of samples of coffee per year, maintaining a seasonal rotation of beans, and working with importers and exporters who use the utmost care in transporting and storing the coffee.
Joe works to build sustainable and trusting relationships with our farmers, importers, exporters, and brokers. These strong relationships allow us to perennially source the best coffee from around the world.
Our roasting team approaches each coffee in a unique way, fine-tuning the roast profile to balance complex acidity with body and sweetness. The result is a roast that highlights the unique flavors inherent to each coffee according to its varietal, elevation, processing methods, and seasonal freshness.
We send fresh coffee weekly, and our bags are always marked with a roast date. We pack our coffee in sealed, foil bags with one-way valves for freshness. While our coffee will not expire, we recommend consuming immediately for the best flavor.
