In 1919 Domenico Bristot, a young Bellunese, with a great thirst for knowledge made his way to Vienna, where he became captivated by the atmosphere in Vienna’s coffee houses.
Lively exchanges of new ideas were played out amidst the tantalizing aroma of coffee. Thoroughly enchanted by what he was learning in Vienna, Domenico Bristot had a vision. He returned to Belluno, to his beloved mountains, where his determination, skill and courage to dream were added to that vision and turned into reality: the Bristot Roasting Company was born.
When we evaluate our coffee we consider coffee bean origin, year of harvest, conditions, shape, and density. The high quality of our coffee is guaranteed by the 5 quality control steps we carry out from the origin to the cup.
STEP 1. We check and approve the quality of the coffee bean sample from the country of origin. STEP 2. We check and approve the quality of the coffee bean sample from the country of origin. STEP 3. We perform another check at the port of arrival, where a sample is taken and sent to Belluno. STEP 4. We check and taste the roasted sample at our Roastery. STEP 5. Our expert tasters perform weekly checks on each of our blends.
